About the Exhibition
Robert Ressler’s Step by Step, on view on a traffic island near Madison Square Park, is made of two large, carved-wood forms. Each rises 20’ from the ground and rests on 32” square bases. The two forms resemble crutch-like shapes. The combined weight of the two forms is approximately 3,000 pounds.
