Jack Youngerman: Sculpture Grove

About the Exhibition

Totem, Lamina, and Limbus by Jack Youngerman (b.1926, Louisville, KY) are colorful, exuberant works that evolved out of drawings and models executed during the past 15 years. Youngerman, who is better known to many for his paintings, said his concern with universal natural forms led him to explore the possibilities of a wide range of means and materials for these pieces. The three pieces are the first large outdoor works by the artist to be shown in New York City.
